Cedars-Sinai accelerator adds 9 startups to 4th class

Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's startup accelerator revealed the names of the nine companies comprising its fourth class July 10.

The accelerator, called the Cedars-Sinai Accelerator Powered by Techstars, aims to help startups focused on healthcare challenges scale their innovations for the broader healthcare market.

The nine startups will complete an intensive three-month program in Los Angeles and receive an initial investment of $120,000, mentorship from Cedars-Sinai physicians and executives, and exposure to a global network through Techstars, an organization that works with entrepreneurs.

The nine startups in this year's Cedars-Sinai Accelerator class are:

  • ALIS Health
  • CardioCube
  • Digital Medical Tech
  • KelaHealth
  • MedPilot
  • Nicolette
  • Relatable
  • Sopris
  • SureConsent

"It's exciting to see these founders and their teams using innovative technologies to tackle a variety of healthcare challenges," Anne Wellington, managing director of the Cedars-Sinai Accelerator, said in the health system's July 10 statement. "Some offer solutions that will be used by patients and front-line clinical staff, while others are focused on supporting medical device technicians, billing office staff or supply chain analysts."
