Now, the app will be rolled out to the whole health system, Cincinnati, Ohio-based Catholic Health Partners.
The app is designed to improve patient engagement and satisfaction by providing patients both with medical information and with an avenue to communicate with clinicians and communicate requests and concerns.
After using the app, one patient reported, “I feel like I know how to take care of myself,” according to the CHP news release.
High patient satisfaction following the St. Rita’s launch has CHP officials optimistic about the systemwide rollout. “We are very excited about the potential of this new product to improve patient care,” said Stephen Beck, MD, CMIO of CHP, in the news release. “We believe this will improve patient engagement and we’ll get better outcomes. People will be happier and healthier. Patient satisfaction will improve dramatically.”
