Cancer diagnosis startup Paige.AI names CEO: 4 things to know

Paige.AI has named Leo Grady, PhD, its CEO and added him as a member of its board of directors.

Four things to know:

1. Dr. Grady will lead Paige.AI, a startup that launched in 2018 with the mission to apply artificial intelligence to how physicians diagnose and treat cancer.

2. Dr. Grady has more than 15 years of experience in machine learning, computer vision and medical imaging technologies. He most recently served as senior vice president of engineering at HeartFlow, a medical technology company that uses deep learning to diagnose and treat cardiac disease.

3. Before joining HeartFlow in 2012, Dr. Grady held various scientific and leadership roles at healthcare and manufacturing company Siemens.

4. Dr. Grady is an international expert of medical imaging and machine learning, and has published two books and more 100 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers on the topics. He has more than 300 issued or pending patents worldwide.
