Meaningful use Stage 2 requires hospitals to deliver patient-specific educational resources to more than 10 percent of inpatients using logic identified from the hospital's EHR system. Plymouth, Mass.-based Beth Israel Deaconess' new population health software also allows for communication with patients through a portal, according to the news release.
