Nashville, Tenn.-based Ascension Saint Thomas partnered with Kroger, the grocery retailer, to expand healthcare access in Middle Tennessee.
Through the partnership, Kroger Health — the healthcare division of The Kroger Co. — and Ascension Saint Thomas aim to provide a convenient entry point to a fully coordinated system of care. The affiliation combines The Little Clinic's 23 in-store clinics with Ascension Saint Thomas' system and Kroger Health pharmacies.
"Collaborations and partnerships are key to transforming the way healthcare is delivered in America," Kroger Health President Colleen Lindholz said in a press release. "We are excited to affiliate with Ascension Saint Thomas. Combining our resources and expertise will allow us to better support the communities we serve. Our vision at Kroger Health is to help people live healthier lives — this affiliation is a great example of our vision in action."
