1. Allscripts launched an initiative to bring real-time pricing information into prescribing workflows.

2. Sixty-eight percent of administrators and clinicians using the McKesson Paragon EHR don't believe Allscripts' acquisition of the company will improve or worsen the EHR system, according to a KLAS Research report.

3. Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic now offers first aid advice through Amazon's digital voice assistant, Alexa.
