Answer Health on Demand brings telemedicine to Michigan transitional housing program

Jessica Kim Cohen -

Telemedicine provider Answer Health on Demand has partnered with Exodus Place, a Grand Rapids, Mich.-based men's transitional home, according to WOOD TV8.

Exodus Place, which houses up to 120 resident men at a time, aims to help homeless men in the community find permanent housing. At present, homeless individuals tend to use the emergency room for primary care services, according to WOOD TV8.

With this telemedicine partnership, men at Exodus Place will be able to schedule video conference appointments with board-certified urgent care, primary care and specialty care physicians. This service will be offered to the residents at no charge.
