Allscripts grows relationship with Catholic Health Initiatives: 3 key points

Allscripts and Catholic Health Initiatives, based in Englewood, Colo., have expanded their business relationship.

Here are three key points.

1. Beginning this fall, Allscripts Managed Services will provide CHI complete system support and operational management through its TouchWorks EHR and Allscripts Practice Management solutions.

2. CHI has also implemented the Allscripts FollowMyHealth patient engagement platform. The health system will launch the platform for 1,500 TouchWorks EHR providers.

3. "CHI is a national leader in delivering highly reliable, quality healthcare to its communities," said John Sage, senior vice president of Allscripts' client organization. "Allscripts solutions and services will further enable CHI to focus on its core mission to treat patients without the distraction of also managing its IT systems and infrastructure."
