The American Health Information Management Association will integrate its physician query templates within Artifact Health's cloud-based platform.
Artifact Health's mobile platform allows physicians to respond to queries more quickly, while on their phones. Query activity is then tracked and reported instantly instead of being manually recorded later by clinical documentation improvement specialists and coders.
"Efficient and accurate coding is vital to meet compliance, and it's our responsibility as leaders of health information management to guide this process and ensure accurate health records and proper reimbursement for hospitals and physicians," AHIMA CEO Wylecia Wiggs Harris, PhD, said in a news release.
