Accenture debuts analytics platform for life sciences companies

Andrea Park -

Accenture introduced INTIENT, a new platform that enables advanced data analytics and the integration of new technology specifically for life sciences companies, on May 16.

The platform will support these companies' internal efforts to improve data security, artificial intelligence-powered analytics, cross-company collaboration and overall productivity, while also streamlining access to networks of external partners. INTIENT integrates with existing Accenture analytics offerings, including its research, clinical, pharmacovigilance and patient platforms.

"Important insights that could lead to the discovery, development and delivery of promising new treatments are too often trapped within the functional silos of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies," Kevin Julian, a senior managing director of Accenture Life Sciences, said in a statement. "With INTIENT, our clients will be able to generate insights from research through to patient services."
