9 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were reported within the last week.

1. The American Academy of Family Physicians will offer HealthFusion's MediTouch EHR system to its members.

2. Fairfield, Iowa-based Jefferson County Health Center plans to adopt Epic's EHR.

3. El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, Calif., adopted Vocera Communications' Care Rounds Solutions.

4. Seguin, Texas-based Guadalupe Health Network will implement Lightbeam Health Solutions' population health management platform.

5. Calvert Memorial Hospital in Prince Frederick, Md., selected MEDITECH's 6.1 Web Acute EHR platform.

6. Beaufort (S.C.) Memorial Hospital will add MEDITECH's Oncology and Critical Care applications to its EHR, and will switch to the vendor's web-based ambulatory EHR next year.

7. Cerner won a new contract in Vancouver, Canada, in which the vendor will provide its EHR software system to three health systems in the western province.

8. The U.S. Coast Guard has been transitioning from its legacy technology to Epic's EHR since 2012. It is also connecting its legacy system to the Epic EHR using InterSystems' interoperability platform.

9. The New England Healthcare Exchange Network, a consortium of regional payers and providers, chose Cognizant and its subsidiary TriZetto to update and manage its technology infrastructure.
