8 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were reported by Becker's Hospital Review during the past week.

1. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs selected 1Vision to deliver home telehealth care to its patients, the company announced Jan. 9.

2. New Orleans-based Ochsner Health System partnered with Appriss Health to integrate Louisiana's prescription drug monitoring program data into Ochsner's Epic EHR, Appriss Health announced Jan. 9.

3. The U.S. Department of Defense recently awarded former McKesson Technologies, now Change Healthcare, a $400 million contract to supply and maintain the agency's digital imaging network.

4. Milwaukee-based Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin will deploy predictive analytics solutions from PeraHealth across its network in early 2018.

5. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Temple in Texas recently rolled out THA Smart Ribbon, a product developed by the Texas Hospital Association, the association announced Jan. 10.

6. Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic entered into an agreement with Veritas Genetics to integrate whole-genome sequencing into clinical care, the DNA sequencing company confirmed Jan. 8.

7. The U.S. Army Regional Health Command-Pacific awarded Vocera Communications a $2.8 million contract to deploy clinical communication at three military facilities, the company announced Jan. 3.

8. Dallas-based Methodist Family Health Centers implemented an online diagnosis and treatment service powered by Zipnosis, the company confirmed Jan. 8.
