The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were reported within the past week.
1. Medtronic's MiniMed Connect mobile accessory and app, used for glucose monitoring, is now available on Android devices.
2. Mountain View, Calif.-based EHR vendor drchrono released an update to its mobile EHR application.
3. American Red Cross entered its first telehealth provider partnership with Teladoc.
4. After two years of planning, Pennsylvania-based Conemaugh Health System completed a $50 million overhaul of its Epic EHR system.
5. Washington, D.C.-based ViiMed, a telehealth software provider, joined forces with Madison, Wis.-based Redox to integrate its platform with a number of top EHR providers.
6. McKesson Enterprise Information Solutions released the latest version of Paragon, its comprehensive EHR solution. Paragon 14.0 includes a number of enhancements, particularly for pharmacy, laboratory and operating room management.
7. Seward (Ala.) Community Health Center plans to implement Epic's EHR system starting Oct. 31.
8. Value-based healthcare company Tandigm Health will partner with Watertown, Mass.-based athenahealth on population health initiatives.
