Researchers surveyed users’ opinions of the VA PHR system, My HealtheVet. Of those who were interested in sharing information, 62 would share with a spouse or partner, 23 percent with a child, 15 percent with another family member and 25 percent with a non-VA healthcare provider.
The authors suggested that PHR systems consider ways for users to expand PHR access to all those involved in their healthcare.
