3. Palo Verde Hospital Warns Patients of Data Breach
Blythe, Calif.-based Palo Verde Hospital notified patients of a data breach that occurred when former administrators of the hospital obtained documents containing patients' health information.
4. Detroit Medical Center Notifies Patients of Data Breach
Detroit Medical Center Harper University Hospital notified 1,087 patients their personal and health information was found with a hospital employee during an identity theft investigation.
5. St. Joseph Health Data Breach Affects 11,800 Patients
Irvine, Calif.-based St. Joseph Health notified patients of a data breach that occurred when an employee mistakenly released their private information to an investment firm working on a business proposal for the health system.
