Five new health tech companies have joined the Real-World Evidence Alliance, a coalition of organizations that advocates for using real-world evidence to inform health tech policy.
The five companies, ConcertAI, OM1, Syneos Health, Verana Health, and Verily, have joined the alliance as of April 5. RWE Alliance was founded by Aetion, Flatiron Health, IQVIA, Syapse, and Tempus in May 2021 and aims to push lawmakers and regulators into recognizing the need for new policies that can advance innovation. The coalition of real-world data and analytics companies have "a common interest in harnessing the power of RWE to inform regulatory decision making to improve patients' lives."
"The Alliance's founding members are thrilled to welcome the new member organizations to the coalition and look forward to joining together to advance the use of RWE to support regulatory decisions and benefit patients," it said in the release.
