Across the globe, digital health companies have generated $6.8 billion in the first half of 2019, up form $6.6 billion at the same time in 2018, according to Startup Health and cited by Business Insider.

Within the U.S., digital health companies hauled in close to $4 billion in funding for the first and second quarters of 2019. However, the U.S. is a leading hub for digital health.
