13 hospitals, health systems named to InformationWeek’s Elite 100 for innovative tech use

InformationWeek has announced its Elite 100 list ranking the most innovative users of information technology in the country. The list spans various industries, and this year 13 hospitals and health systems made the cut.

To be named to the list, organizations must demonstrate consistent technological, procedural and organizational innovation, and have total annual revenue of at least $250 million.

Here are the 13 hospitals and health systems named to this year's Elite 100.

A handful of other healthcare organizations also made the list, including Louisville, Ky.-based Humana (No. 41), Research Triangle, N.C.-based GlaxoSmithKline (No. 71), New York-based Pfizer (No. 10), Kenilworth, N.J.-based Merck (No. 14) and Indianapolis-based Eli Lilly (No. 67).
