The foundation issued a report, “Healthy Connections in Colorado: A Primer for HIT Success,” that describes the impact of its Healthy Connections initiative on healthcare safety net organizations. Under the initiative, Colorado Health Foundation gave 43 organizations 75 grants totaling $9.4 million. From 2007-2011, the organizations’ development of health IT allowed 460,000 Coloradans to benefit from EHRs, according to the report.
