10 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were announced within the past week.

1. athenahealth and University of Toledo (Ohio) Medical Center are working together to develop the vendor's EHR for deployment in the hospital.

2. Minnesota Community Healthcare Network selected RelayHealth to establish interoperability connectivity between organizations.

3. Tuba City (Ariz.) Regional Health Care Corp. selected Allscripts Sunrise and the Allscripts Care Director revenue cycle system.

4. National ACO selected drchrono as their EHR vendor for medical records, practice management and medical billing.

5. Rochester (N.Y.) Regional Health rolled out OpenNotes, a national initiative that gives patients access to medical notes written by physicians, nurses and clinicians during episodes of care.

6. Curaspan and the state of Virginia aim to save time and money for providers across the state by automating the preadmission screening process for seniors facing long term care.

7. Greenville, Texas-based Hunt Regional Healthcare selected TROY Healthcare Solutions to provide a prescription printing solution to prevent medication fraud.

8. Tulare (Calif.) Regional Medical Center selected Phoenix Health Systems to assist with software implementation management and infrastructure support.

9. Kirkland, Wash.-based EvergreenHealth selected Wellpepper's remote care management solution for patients with total joint replacement and musculoskeletal care plans.

10. Pearland, Texas-based Neighbors Emergency Center selected T-Systems' emergency department information system to enhance care delivery and improve workflow.
