A dose of feel good to kick off the weekend.

Families of children born at Akron, Ohio-area hospitals will get some special gifts in the coming weeks to celebrate Akron natives LeBron James and Stephen Curry in the NBA finals, Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Mr. James' Cleveland Cavaliers play Mr. Curry's Golden State Warriors in the matchup.

Through June 19, families of children born at Summa Akron City Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Akron General and Akron Children's Hospital will receive care packages, courtesy of Akron-based Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. The care packages will include a set of four tires, an "Akron Born" onesie for their child and a car seat, according to the report.

"Akron is a special place and Goodyear wants to celebrate the great things that are born here," Seth Klugherz, Goodyear’s director of North America marketing, said, according to the report. "The support we have received from our community partners truly represents the foundation of this program and we are excited to recognize this in an impactful way that will produce delightful moments for some deserving families."

Both basketball players were born at Akron City Hospital, now Summa Akron City Hospital.
