Utah neurological clinic abruptly closes 'due to unfortunate circumstances'

Western Neurological Associates in Salt Lake City closed this week after more than 40 years in business without providing notice to patients or paying staff, according to KSL TV.

A note on the shuttered clinic's door stated WNA closed "due to unfortunate circumstances."

"We know how disruptive this is and how fast it has occurred. This has been very difficult for us as well," the note read.

A WNA employee who spoke to KSL TV on the condition of anonymity said employees were left unpaid when the clinic closed. He is considering suing WNA to recoup wages.

Two of WNA's physicians will transfer to Salt Lake Regional Medical Center, according to the report.
