Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley, Calif., has extended its contract with revenue cycle agency Hospital Billing & Collection Services, according to Patch.
RUMC contracted with HBCS in 2015, directing the agency to collect small individual accounts owing $5,000 or less as well as legacy accounts aged several years. Altogether, HCBS took on about 76,000 accounts.
Under terms of the renewed contract, HCBS will take on roughly 85,000 accounts for the hospital.
