Private equity pushes into healthcare: 5 latest deals

There were more than 700 private equity deals in the healthcare industry in 2018, and the healthcare sector continues to draw private equity investors.

Here are five private equity deals announced in the past month:

1. Advent International agreed to acquire AccentCare, a post-acute care provider based in Dallas, from Oak Hill Capital Partners.

2. WestView Capital Partners invested in Health Monitor Network, a Montvale, N.J.-based patient engagement company.

3. Golden Gate Capital agreed to buy a 51 percent stake in Ensemble Health Partners, a Mason, Ohio-based revenue cycle management provider, from Cincinnati-based Bon Secours Mercy Health.

4. New Mountain Capital invested in W2O, a San Francisco-based provider of marketing communications to the healthcare sector.

5. LLR Partners recapitalized CareATC, a Tulsa, Okla.-based employee population health company.
