Moody's downgrades Hunt Memorial Hospital District to 'A2'

Leo Vartorella -

Moody's Investors Service downgraded the rating for Hunt Memorial Hospital District (Texas) from "A1" to "A2," affecting $23 million of general obligation limited tax debt.

The ratings affect the issuer long-term and general obligation limited tax bonds for the district, which includes Greenville, Texas-based Hunt Regional Healthcare. The ratings reflect the district's weakened financial position after several years of operating losses.

Moody's does not generally assign outlooks to local government issuers that have this amount of debt outstanding.
