1. Moxe Health raises $5.5M in seed funding for claims processing software
Moxe Health, a Wisconsin-based healthcare IT startup that provides interoperability solutions, raised $5.5 million from investors in a series A financing round.

2. TruBridge, Curahealth sign RCM service agreement for 12 long-term hospitals
Curahealth tapped TruBridge to manage account receivable and revenue cycle management services for 12 long-term acute care hospitals.

3. Medical Transcription Billing makes largest acquisition since going public
Medical Transcription Billing, a health IT company based in Somerset, N.J., closed the largest acquisition in the firm's history since it went public.

4. SCIO signs 6 clients for reimbursement optimization solution
SCIO Health Analytics added four clients and expanded partnerships with two clients to include reimbursement optimization services.

5. Blockchain company launches revenue cycle pilot program
Gem, a blockchain platform provider, unveiled a revenue cycle management pilot program that runs on the Gem Health Network.

6. FINEOS customer Friends First upgrades claims solution
FINEOS, a provider of core systems for life, accident and health insurance, revealed that Irish life assurance company Friends First upgraded to FINEOS Version 8.

7. Miami Children's Health System taps Cerner for RCM services
Miami Children's Health System and its affiliates, Pediatric Specialists of America and Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami, expanded their relationship with Cerner to include revenue cycle management services. 

8. Southeast rural health facilities choose Azalea Health for medical billing and EHR
Azalea Health, a provider of cloud-based healthcare solutions and services, will offer southeast rural healthcare providers and facilities, including designated rural health clinics, with an integrated healthcare management and medical billing solution.

9. Startup Remedy aims to resolve medical billing mistakes
A startup called Remedy helps get money back for patients who received incorrect medical bills.  

10. ZirMed taps Amendola Communications for PR and content development
ZirMed, a provider of revenue cycle software and healthcare predictive analytics, selected public relations and marketing firm Amendola Communications as its agency of record and content development partner.

11. Zotec Partners' Stacie Norris to lead national ACEP committee workgroup
Stacie Norris, director of coding and quality assurance at Zotec Partners, was appointed chairperson to the AmericanCollege of Emergency Physicians Coding and Nomenclature Committee Workgroup 1.
