Southbridge, Mass.-based Harrington Hospital is sounding the alarm that it could be overwhelmed following the closure of Family Health of Worcester (Mass.) locations in Southbridge, MassLive reported Dec. 2.
Prior to the closure of its locations due to financial struggles, Family Health CEO Ed Brady gave Harrington Hospital CEO Ed Moore a 90-day notice.
"That's not a lot of time. If he knew it before (that day), it would have been nice to know it sooner," Mr. Moore told MassLive.
To make sure Harrington's emergency facilities are not overwhelmed, Mr. Moore is looking to accrue federal and state funds.
