Healthcare executives predict 2015 will be a year of financial growth

Ayla Ellison -

Middle market healthcare executives at companies with revenue between $25 million and $1 billion are optimistic about their organizations' finances in 2015, according to a recent study from CIT Group.

The study, which was based on survey results from 155 middle-market healthcare executives, found 71 percent of healthcare executives believe their organizations' revenues will increase in 2015.

Although the regulatory environment in the healthcare industry can be challenging, 52 percent of the executives surveyed said they believe that the level of government regulations on their sector is just right. In addition, 59 percent of the executives said they believe that regulations have had a positive impact on their companies' revenues and growth.

"Executives are optimistic, and while they continue to confront new challenges, they believe 2015 will be a year for growth," said William Douglass, president of CIT corporate finance and healthcare.
