For-profit hospital stock report: Week of Sept. 2-6

Three major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices rise last week.

Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems saw the greatest increase, 19.7 percent.

Here's how the operators stacked up as of Sept. 6:

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $2.98 per share (up 19.7 percent)
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $126.10 per share (up 4.9 percent)
  • Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $19.78 per share (down 8.6 percent)
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $148.26 per share (up 2.5 percent)
