For-profit hospital stock report: Week of March 11-15

Three major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices rise last week.

Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare saw the greatest increase, at 7.5 percent.

Here's how the operators stacked up as of March 15:

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $4.31 per share (down 7.1 percent)
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $132.35 per share (up 6.1 percent)
  • Tenet Healthcare: $29.20 per share (up 7.5 percent)
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $134.24 per share (up 3.9 percent)
