For-profit hospital stock report: Week of Feb. 25-March 1

Three major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices rise last week.

Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare saw the greatest increase, at 21.6 percent.

Here's how the operators stacked up as of March 1:

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $4.99 per share (up 10.9 percent)
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $138.47 per share (down 3.9 percent)
  • Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $29.39 per share (up 21.6 percent)
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $140.80 per share (up 3.5 percent)
