For-profit hospital stock report: Week of April 8-12

Four major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices fall last week.

Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems saw the greatest decrease, 8.8 percent.

Here's how the operators stacked up as of April 12:

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $3.41 per share (down 8.8 percent)
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $127.87 per share (down 4.6 percent)
  • Tenet Healthcare: $29.01 per share (down 7 percent)
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $132.80 per share (down 1.4 percent)
