For-profit hospital stock report: Week of April 29-May 3

Three major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices fall last week.

Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare saw the greatest decrease, 11.8 percent.

Here's how the operators stacked up as of May 3:

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $3.37 per share (down 8.2 percent)
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $125.61 per share (up 0.05 percent)
  • Tenet Healthcare: $21.40 per share (down 11.8 percent)
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $123 per share (down 4.8 percent)
