Fitch Ratings affirmed its "A+" rating on Greeley-based North Colorado Medical Center.

Concurrently, Fitch assigned its "A+" issuer default rating to the medical center.

The affirmation and assignment are a result of several factors, including NCMC's healthy operating margins, favorable payer mix, light debt burden and leading inpatient market share. Fitch also acknowledged the medical center's increasingly competitive service area.

The outlook is stable.
