Creditors are battling during bankruptcy proceedings over payment related to the closure of Hahnemann University Hospital, according to KYW Newsradio.

American Academic Health System announced plans in late June to close financially-struggling Hahnemann by Sept. 6. The academic medical center has already ended emergency department services as part of the wind down process.
