The Cleveland Clinic continues to serve as an economic engine in Florida, Ohio and Nevada, according to reports the health system commissioned.
Here are three other findings from Cleveland Clinic's reports, which examined 2013 data.
1. The Cleveland Clinic had a $12.6 billion economic impact on Northeast Ohio and the state in 2013. Cleveland Clinic activities also supported more than 93,000 jobs in Ohio, representing more than $5.9 billion in total earnings.
2. Cleveland Clinic Florida, one of the largest employers in Broward County, had a total economic output of up to $783 million, including 5,300 jobs and $365 million in wages and benefits.
3. Cleveland Clinic's presence in the Clark County region of Nevada added up to an economic output of $35.3 million, including 210 jobs and $14.6 million in wages and benefits.
