New filings with the Federal Election Commission show drugmakers, insurance companies and other health-related firms gave more than $2 million to President Donald Trump's inauguration, reports Kaiser Health News.
KHN notes the donations followed President Trump's pledges to rein in drug prices and repeal and replace the ACA.

Abbott Laboratories — $35,000
MetLife, Anthem and Aetna — $100,000 each
Managed Care of North America — $135,000
Centene — $250,000
Amgen — $500,000
Pfizer — $1 million
