7 latest CFO moves in hospitals, health systems

The following hospital and health system CFO moves were announced or completed in the past month.

1. Fountain Valley, Calif.-based MemorialCare Health System named Yair Katz CFO of Long Beach (Calif.) Memorial, Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach and Community Hospital Long Beach.

2. Steamboat Springs, Colo.-based Yampa Valley Medical Center named Bryan Roach CFO.

3. Tanya Hoar resigned as CEO and CFO of Manistique, Mich.-based Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital.

4. The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., named George Sprinkel CFO.

5. El Seguno, Calif.-based Avanti Hospitals appointed Steven Blake CFO.

6. Sam Guild, CFO of Sumner Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Kan., tendered his resignation.

7. James Staten, executive vice president and CFO of Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health System, was named CFO of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
