Sixty-eight percent of healthcare leaders from provider organizations are optimistic about the executive order signed by President Donald Trump June 24 related to price disclosure, according to a Reaction Data report.
Reaction Data, a an online healthcare research platform based in American Fork, Utah, surveyed nearly 300 C-suite executives, physicians, nurses and pharmacists and directors from provider organizations about their opinions on the executive order.
Survey participants ranked the executive order on a six-point scale, with 1 being "I think it's a horrible idea" and 6 being "I think it's a great idea."
Twenty-seven percent of survey participants said they think the executive order to improve price transparency is a great idea. Another 41 percent of participants were also on the optimism half of the scale.
Thirty-two percent of respondents were on the opposite half of the scale.
