5 healthcare CFOs in the headlines

Here are five healthcare industry CFOs who were in the news this past week.

1. Jeremy Redin was in the news as he was named CFO of Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, Calif.

2. Karen Hanlon, executive vice president and CFO of Pittsburgh-based Highmark Health, was in the news discussing Highmark's financial results for the first six months of 2016.

3. Tom Tran was in the news as he was named CFO and COO of Deerfield Beach, Fla.-based Sentry Data Systems, a provider of 340B compliance and healthcare analytics solutions.

4. Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health CFO Art Wallace was in the news discussing how the system will likely need an extension to complete its annual financial audit. 

5. David Fender, former CFO of Larned (Kan.) State Hospital was in the news as hospital officials said they were not aware Mr. Fender was the focus of a federal investigation when he was hired in 2015.
