The following organizations announced new revenue cycle management-related hires or promotions so far in 2018:

1. Strategic Radiology, a coalition of 25 independent, private radiology practices, named Sharon Fremer vice president of revenue cycle optimization. 

2. Augusta (Ga.) University Health, a three-hospital nonprofit system, named Joseph Koons vice president of revenue cycle services.

3. CarePayment, a self-described "patient financial engagement company," hired Wes Pass as chief strategy officer.

4. T-System, a provider of health IT solutions for emergency and urgent care, including charge capture and coding, named Robert Hitchcock, MD, executive vice president and general manager of documentation.

5. RCM solutions company Recondo Technology promoted Heather Kawamoto to chief product officer.

6. Payformance Solutions, a provider of value-based reimbursement solutions and services, named Alicia Torres president and CEO.

7. Healthcare consulting firm The Wilshire Group named Rick Walsh senior revenue cycle consultant.

8. Health IT company Ingenious Med, a provider charge capture and practice performance analytics, named Nimesh Shah CEO.

9. Revint Solutions, a national healthcare solutions and consulting services provider, appointed Roger Davis CEO.

10. Prism Healthcare Partners, a Chicago-based national healthcare consulting firm, added Sean Angert as managing partner.

11. Axxess, a self-described "home healthcare technology company," hired financial expert Spencer Marks to oversee the company's RCM services growth.

12. Healthcare consulting firm The Wilshire Group named Andrew Wade senior revenue cycle consultant.

13. Clearwave Corp., a healthcare software company focused on self-service registration, named Shaun Priest chief revenue officer overseeing sales activities.

14. Cantata Health, a provider of healthcare RCM, EHR, accounting and portal solutions, appointed two new leaders.

15. Avelead hired Jay Galbreath as senior director of its revenue cycle services practice.

16. Access Healthcare named Jim Carlough senior vice president-North America operations.
