Three healthcare revenue cycle management companies, DuvaSawko, abeo and Gottlieb, combined Aug. 19 to form Ventra Health.

Ventra Health's development began two years ago when Varsity Healthcare Partners acquired DuvaSawko. The platform expanded by adding abeo's services, which are specialized for anesthesia, and Gottlieb's services, which are specialized for emergency and hospital medicine.

Michael O'Boyle, who was abeo's CEO before Ventra Health was formed, will serve as the new company's CEO. Mr. O'Boyle is a healthcare industry veteran, previously serving as UnitedHealth Networks' president, Cleveland Clinic's COO and Baltimore-based MedStar Health's executive vice president.
