UC Health to invest $30M in Cincinnati campus

Cincinnati-based UC Health plans to invest in multiple facilities improvements to its main campus over the next two years, including renovations to inpatient, outpatient and parking buildings, according to Soapbox Cincinnati.

The campus includes the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, UC Health physicians' offices and the Barrett Cancer Center, along with a space shared with the UC College of Medicine. The renovations will make it easier for patients to get around the sprawling campus. The hospital's main lobby, emergency department and underground tunnels are all set to be remodeled.

"The care that we provide to our patients is complex, but their experience with us shouldn’t be," said Richard Lofgren, MD, UC Health president and CEO. "We need to make it easier for patients, visitors and employees to navigate our campus."
