Spearfish Hospital to get new campus after 40 acre land donation

Regional Health Spearfish (S.D.) Hospital received a 40-acre land donation that will allow the facility to build a new campus, according to KEVN Black Hills Fox TV.

There are currently five different facilities in Spearfish that often cause patients and physicians scheduling confusion, but with the expansion all healthcare needs will be offered under one roof.

"A project of this magnitude that is going to have this kind of transformation impact on the community of Spearfish really can only happen when you have partnership between Regional Health and the community," said Mr. Worsley, interim president of Spearfish Hospital, according to KEVN. "That is something that has come across loud and clear with our community partners certainly with the city of Spearfish so we are just absolutely excited for that partnership."

The land was donated by 2-Bar-T Ranch.
