Sulphur, Ok.-based Arbuckle Memorial Hospital is preparing to build a clinic next to the hospital, according to KXII, a local Fox News affiliate.
The clinic inside the hospital has three exam rooms and four providers, but the new 11,000-square-foot one will have 15 exam rooms, six providers and two lab areas. The project will cost about $3.7 million.
"Patients can walk through an enclosed corridor back and forth from the hospital to the clinic, so if they have outpatient diagnostic needs, they can just walk right over here to the hospital," said Jeremy Jones, the hospital administrator.
