Raintree rolls out new EHR app

Raintree Systems, an EHR company for rehab and therapy providers, has released a new EHR app for applied behavior analysis providers.

The app features the elimination of data entry duplication; patient signature capture; the ability to document session notes; and access to patient information without searching. The data entered into the app is automatically uploaded into Raintree's EHR system, according to a Nov. 18 news release from the company.

The app will be a move away from using tablets during therapy sessions, as Raintree noted that this could distract patients.

"Until now our clients have been limited with their ability to enter applied behavior analysis data using a phone-sized device or collect information offline," Raintree CEO Nick Hedges said in the release. "In a clinical setting, the ability to collect this information easily while directly interacting with autistic children can be a daunting task. This smartphone app will help care providers handle data collection efficiently so they can spend more time interacting with their patients."
