Premise Health completes Epic implementation: 4 things to know

Jackie Drees -

Premise Health, a Brentwood, Tenn.-based worksite health provider, wrapped up a two-year transition to Epic's EHR this month.

Four things to know:

1. Premise Health began its transition to Epic in March 2017 as part of an initiative the company refers to as "Emagine," which aims to unite technology, clinical practice and patient-provider experience.

2. The organization recently hit more than 1.4 million patient record exchanges through the Epic EHR platform.

3. To date, Premise Health has completed more than 960,000 appointments in Epic and has documented more than 100,000 patient-scheduled appointments in MyChart, Epic's patient portal.

4. "Our transition to Epic has been a critical step toward delivering the fully integrated care that clients and members deserve, and that is required to enhance health outcomes," Premise Health CEO Stu Clark said in a news release. "Equipping our teams with a single EHR, aligned to our industry-leading clinical approach, has significantly enhanced their ability to deliver quality care over time, offering greater healthcare value."
