ProMedica Coldwater (Mich.) Regional Hospital implemented an Epic EHR, WTVB reports.
With the new Epic EHR, the hospital's patient records will all be stored on a single system. ProMedica patients will also have access to Epic's patient portal, MyChart. ProMedica MyChart allows patients to view their medical records, make payments online and send messages to their healthcare providers.
ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital was acquired last year by Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica, a nonprofit health system which comprises 12 hospitals. The health system installed an Epic EHR in 2015.
