Northern Valley Indian Health in California will swap out its current EHR for a system from eClinicalWorks, the health IT vendor confirmed May 9.
Northern Valley Indian Health is a nonprofit Tribal Health Program that provides medical, dental and pediatric healthcare services to Native American tribes and the general public at its clinics in Chico, Willows, Red Bluff and Woodland. Under the agreement with eClinicalWorks, Northern Valley Indian Health will deploy the company's EHR across its seven medical, dental and behavioral healthcare facilities.
"We are proud to partner with Northern Valley Indian Health to improve the delivery of care to its Native American and community members," Girish Navani, CEO and co-founder of eClinicalWorks, said in a May 9 statement. "At eClinicalWorks, we are committed to providing evidence-based care to medically underserved populations."
