EHR vendors' stock report: Week of Jan. 16-19

All of the four major publicly-traded EHR vendors saw their stock prices rise last week.

Among the major publicly-traded EHR vendors, General Electric saw the greatest decrease in share price at 13.33 percent.

Here is how the four EHR vendors stacked up as of Jan. 19. The companies are listed in alphabetical order.

  • Allscripts (Chicago): $15.21 per share (down 5.06 percent)
  • athenahealth (Watertown, Mass.): $128.3 per share (down 0.85 percent)
  • Cerner (North Kansas City, Mo.): $69.01 per share (down 5.32 percent)
  • General Electric (Boston): $16.26 per share (down 13.33 percent)

Other top EHRs are privately held. These include eClinicalWorks, Epic and Meditech.
